Infocom World 2021, 26 November 2021, “5GENESIS: Results and Lessons Learnt” were presented by Dr. Harilaos Koumaras (NCSRD), the 5GENESIS project coordinator.
TSDSI and 5G-IA jointly organized a webinar on 5G Tests & Pilots (T&P). The objective of this webinar was to enable the sharing of information, data, lessons learnt and areas for collaborative 5G Tests and Pilots. It presented examples of 5G T&Ps implemented in 5G “hot verticals”, such as smart city, smart grid, media broadcast and media production from Europe and India. It was structured as a succession of 10 minutes presentations of T&P projects in both Europe and India with two brief Q&A sessions. Prof. Pedro Merino (5GENESIS Technical Manager, University of Malaga) presented the 5GENESIS Malaga platform (including a demo video) during the 5G Smart City session of the 5GIA-TSDSI Webinar on 5G Trials & Pilots, 22 September 2021
Georgios Gardikis (Space Hellas) presented the 5GENESIS activities around Satcom & 5G during the 1st Athens Space and Satellite Industry Summit (7-8 July 2021)
Space Hellas presented at EuCNC2021 “Metrics-based Outlier Detection for 5G Security” on Tuesday 8 June 2021, in the frame of 5GENESIS Project and PALANTIR Project
Dr. Harilaos Koumaras (NCSRD), 5GENESIS coordinator, presented the “5G system and Vertical Industries KPIs” with focus on Open5Genesis Suite at SEMANTIC project – School 1 virtual session: 5G architectures, enabling technologies, vertical industries and KPIs (16 Feb 2021).
Dr. Harilaos Koumaras (NCSRD), 5GENESIS coordinator, presented on 27 January 2021 the “5G!Drones Trials in Athens: Results, Challenges and the Next Steps” at Drones 3S Pro online conference (Athens, Greece). Special mention was made on the 5GENESIS Athens platform where 5G!Drones project trials performed at the end of October 2020. Dr. Harilaos Koumaras (NCSRD), 5GENESIS coordinator, presented today at the “5G and Internet of Things Thessaloniki Week 2020” how 5G-enabled UAVs can support the IoT vertical industry, based on the work that is performed in 5GENESIS and 5G!Drones 5G-PPP projects. Dr. Harilaos Koumaras (NCSRD), 5GENESIS coordinator, presented online the “Field Trials of UAVs on top of 5GENESIS platform: Advances and Lessons Learned” at 5G-PPP Technology Board e-Workshop, session ” Working on Verticals”, on 10 December 2020. The presentation provided several insights about the 5G!Drones trials that were performed over the 5GENESIS Athens 5G experimental platform in October 2020, highlighting also the great collaboration among the two projects,
