Two @5genesis_h2020 papers by Instituto de Telecomunicacoes (IT) were accepted for publication in IEEE Global Communications Conference (GlobeCom) in Abu Dhabi, UAE, 9-13 December 2018
David Artunedo Guillen (Telefonica) participated on ONF Connect in Santa Clara in the 5th of December where he talked about use cases running on edge computing, and presented 5Genesis Malaga platform.
5GENESIS deputy TM had the opportunity to meet and discuss with representatives of other 5GPPP projects at 5GPPP Technical Workshop in Kista (November 20-22), Sweden. Performance KPIs were in focus and the workshop was organised by H2020_5GCAR project and hosted by Ericsson.

INFOLYSIS participated in the Athens Innovation Festival where it had the chance to describe and communicate 5GENESIS project, its objectives and characteristics, as part of 5G ecosystem, through INFOLYSIS booth to audience and companies related to media, health and telecommunication technologies/services.
Dr. Valerio Frascolla (INTEL) from 5GENESIS, co-organized with 5G-MiEdge and led the panel entitled “Dynamic spectrum management: the 5G verticals view” at the DySPAN 2018 conference in Seoul (Oct. 23, 2018) describing the importance of spectrum dynamicity of 5G systems.
