5GENESIS at the 20th INFOCOM World 2018 in Athens, Greece

The project coordinator Dr. Anastasios Kourtis presented 5GENESIS (presentation) at the 20th INFOCOM World 2018 in Athens on 21 November 2018 at Athens Conference Center. The presentation was entitled “5th Generation End-to-End Network, Experimentation, System Integration and Showcasing: The case of the 5GENESIS Project” and given as invited talk in Cosmote workshop on the mobile operator’s 5G plans and research activities. Demo sessions were also available by Cosmote in 5G business cases, such as media and entertainment.

5GENESIS HANDBOOK FOR ICT-19-2019 PROPOSERS

5GENESIS project releases the “5GENESIS HANDBOOK FOR ICT-19-2019 PROPOSERS” in order to facilitate the engagement of vertical industries with the 5GENESIS facility.

The handbook provides an overview of the five 5GENESIS platforms (Athens, Malaga, Limassol, Berlin and Surrey), as well as details on submitting an inquiry request in the framework of ICT-19-2019 proposals.

Second GA Meeting at Intel, Munich

5GENESIS successfully completed the second GA meeting, which took place in Munich at INTEL premises. The consortium members had the opportunity to analyse the requirements of the 5GENESIS facility, as well as a preliminary discussions on the facility architecture took place.

The coordinator Dr. Harilaos Koumaras presented 5GENESIS project at a special session for the 5G-PPP phase 3 projects at EuCNC 2018.
